Vacation Getaway to Visit Friends in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania

On his way back to Ohio, Brendan drove us to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, to visit friends Artis and Germaine (they live only a few miles out of the way of Brendan's route to Ohio). On our way out of NYC we dropped off a package to Evan. Highlights of our short visit to Pennsylvanie included seeing the quaint town of Jim Thorpe, visiting Jim Thorpe's grave, learning about an amazing artist in residence there, seeing the bear that frequents Artis and Germaine's deck, and visiting the studio of a successful illustrator who left NYC to live and create art in Jim Thorpe.
